Day 01: Abroad / Mumbai
On arrival at the Mumbai International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our representative who will then escort you to your hotel room.
Spend the night at this luxurious hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
In the morning a one hour boat ride across the beautiful Mumbai Harbor will be provided. The boat will then take you to the verdant Elehantia Island. While on the island you can visit some of the finely carved Elephanta Caves that are dated as old as 8th century.
In the afternoon, you will be given a city tour of Mumbai.
Day 03: Mumbai - Cochin – Periyar
In the morning you will be given a transfer from the Hotel to the airport. You will be taking the flight from Mumbai to Cochin.
On arrival in Cochin, you will be greeted by our representative who will escort you to hotel and Lunch would be provided. After lunch, a scenic drive to Periyar will be taken to which the drive is approximately 190 kms.
Upon arrival at Periyar you would be checked into a luxurious hotel for a night stay.
Day 04: Periyar – Kumarakom
A boat cruise will be provided early in the morning on the lake of the famous Periyar Sanctuary. You will get to see the wild life while on this adventurous boat ride through the sanctuary.
After the boat ride you will be taken back to the hotel for a breakfast buffet.
After the breakfast, a guided walk would be provided around the Spice Village to enjoy panorama of the resort garden with various spices grown there.
After the sumptuous walk, enjoy a scenic drive through the winding “Ghats” lined up with prosperous tea plantation. During this ride you would visit the many tea estates enroute and finally arrive at the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy fields to Kumarakom. The complete drive is about 190 kms long.
Have a sound night sleep at the hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 05: Kumarakom – Houseboat
After a great night sleep wake up at your leisure and take a beautiful cruise on the backwaters in a traditional country canoes, called “vanjis”. During this cruise you will get to see the agricultural activities of the local people living on the backwaters and also get the chance to visit a beautiful bird sanctuary.
After the boat ride, return to the hotel where you will be served warm laid out lunch.
After lunch you will board on the traditional rice boat. Spend the night on the splendid rice boat.
Day 06: Houseboat - Marari
In the morning breakfast will be provided on board the boat itself.
After breakfast, the boat will sail to Alleppey and you will get down at Puthenagady Jetty. On arrival you will proceed directly to Mararikulam, which is 30 kms away.
On arrival you will check into the hotel and spend the night at this luxurious hotel resort.
Day 07: Marari
A day to relax and enjoy at your own pace, you have the complete day to yourself for your own activities and enjoy the facilities provided within this luxurious resort.
Spend the night in the resort.
Day 08: Marari – Cochin
In the morning, have breakfast and then set out for a nice 60km drive to Cochin. Upon arrival you will check into another grand Hotel property.
Upon arrival you would be given a guided tour of Cochin also called as “Kochi”.
During the afternoon enjoy the Harbour cruise and view the scenic beauty of Kochi.
In the evening witness the Kathakali dance performance and complete make up demonstration of the dancers. Kathakali is a unique dance form of Kerala that has a 2000 year old history.
Enjoy the dinner and spend the night at the luxurious Hotel.
Day 09 : Cochin – Mumbai
In the morning you will be provided a transfer from the hotel to the airport. You will be taking a flight from Cochin to Mumbai.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our representatives who will escort you to the hotel. At the hotel, you can spend the day at your own leisure.
Later in the day you will be provided with transfers to the International airport for your connecting flights.
Day 10 : Abroad - Mumbai
You will leave Mumbai for your onward journey.
