Day 01 : Cochin - Varkala
Enjoy a scenic drive to Varkala, barely 100 km drive from Cochin. Check in at the hotel pre-arranged for you at Varkala and do your own thing for the rest of the day.
Day 02 : Varkala
In the morning, leave for a visit to the Portugese church of Anjengo (dated back to as old as 2nd century A.D.) and the English Fort constructed in 1695 A.D. by the English 'East India Company'.
In the afternoon rest or stroll around the city at your discretion. Good night sleep at the hotel room at Varkala.
Day 03 : Varkala - Kumarakom
In the morning, drive to Kumarakom, which is again a 100 km drive. Check in at a pre-arranged hotel at Kumarakom. In the afternoon, pay visit to the exotic bird sanctuary plush with variety of birds, including egrets, tree pies, black headed orioles, bee-eaters & a whole host of herons. Come back to hotel room for rest and good night sleep.
Day 04 : Kumarakom
Enjoy a leisurely time during the entire day at your will or go for Ayurvedic therapy on direct payment basis. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Kumarakom - Periyar
In the morning, drive to Periyar and register at the hotel booked for you. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on Lake Periyar and enjoy sights of wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers who come to shores of the lake to quench thirst. Thereupon, visit the spice marketplace at Periyar at leisure. Return to the hotel for rest and sleep.
Day 06: Periyar
Spend the entire day at your discretion at the pleasant and beautiful Periyar. You can also opt for an Ayurvedi Therapy here on direct payment basis. Return to hotel for rest, meals and nap.
Day 07 : Periyar - Cochin.
Drive your way back to Cochin and take a flight back home.
