Day 01: Chennai
Get down at the Chennai airport or railway station and ushered to your hotel by assistance.
Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram
Spend the entire day at Chennai and enjoy a guided tour to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram in a pre-arranged taxi.
Day 03: Chennai - Pondicherry
Leave for Pondicherry in the morning in a taxi and enjoy the 170 km drive. Reach Pondicherry by early afternoon. After some rest and lunch, leave for sightseeing tour of the exquisite Pondicherry.
Day 04: Pondicherry - Swami Mailer
Board a taxi for a 166 km drive to Swami Mailer Ethnic Village Resort. Stop over at Chidambram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram on the way for sight seeing and then finally get down at Swami Mailer.
Day 05 : Swami Malai - Tanjore - Trichy
Early next morning leave for Trichy (91 km) and visit Tanjore temple on your way. Check in at the hotel in Trichy and rest for some time. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of Srirangam and Rock Fort in the afternoon.
Day 06: Trichy - Madurai
Leave for Madurai, which is about 142 km drive from Trichy. After necessary rest, get ready for an enjoyable sightseeing tour of town Madurai.
Day 07 : Madurai - Rameshwaram or Kodaikanai
Spend the whole day at Madurai, either leisurely in the hotel room or take a trip to visit Rameshwaram or Kodaikanal.
Day 08: Madurai - Kanya Kumari - Kovalam
Leave Madurai in the morning and arrive Kanya Kumari which is a 285 km drive. Kanya Kumari(Cape Comorin),is the southern most tip of Indian peninsula. Continue drive from Kanyakumari to arrive at Kovalam. Kovalam is the popular beach town of Kerela. Check-in at the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 09: Kovalam
Spend your entire day at Kovalam doing your own thing at your own pace.
Day 10: Kovalam - Periyar
276 km drive to Periyar from Kovalam undertaken to reach three by early afternoon. After some rest, leave for Periyar sanctuary for a boat cruise and watch wildlife from closer distance than possible elsewhere.
Day 11: Periyar - Kottayam
Arrive at Kottayam backwaters upon a 115 km drive from Periyar. It is time to board a Kettuvalom (houseboat) at Kottayam for going down the backwaters to Alleppey. Spend a memorable time through one day and one night spent on the traditional houseboat, beneath the starry sky.
Day 12: Alleppey - Cochin
Disembark Houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Cochin.
Day 13: Cochin
Enjoy sightseeing at Cochin, including tourist places viz. Jewish Synagogue - The Dutch Palace, Portuguese Churches, Mosques, Hindu temples and Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening attend the traditional Kathakali Dance Show. Overnight stay at hotel at Cochin.
Day 14: Cochin – Ooty
Get on a 280 km long drive to Ooty – “'the queen of hill stations'”. Belonging to the 19th century, the beautiful hill station is very popular among tourists from all walks of life. Stay at a hotel at Ooty overnight.
Day 15: Ooty - Coonoor
Spend the entire day sightseeing and exploring Ooty and Coonoor. Pay visit to exotic Botanical Gardens, charming Ooty Lake and magnificent Dodabetta peak, all of it offering panoramic views of the Nilgiri Mountains. Enjoy toy train trip from Ooty to Coonoor and relish the scenery that comes along the way. Come back to the hotel for night stay and rest.
Day 16: Ooty - Mysore
Depart from Ooty to leave for Mysore. The drive is all of 155 km. Spend time visiting magnificent palaces, beautifully laid out gardens, huge buildings and ancient temples once you get there. Night stay would take place at Mysore.
Day 17: Mysore - Srirangapatnam
Pay reverences at the famous Somnathpur Temple in the morning and then visit Srirangapatnam - the capital of Tipu Sultan's empire - in the evening. Night stay would again be at Mysore.
Day 18: Mysore - Hassan
Set out for 150 km Drive from Mysore to Hassan. Sign in at the hotel pre-booked for you. In the afternoon, visit Belur and Halebid Temples.
Day 19: Hassan - Bangalore - Sravanbelgola
A drive of 186 km is all it will take to reach Bangalore. On the way, you can visit the historic monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali at Sravanbelgola, which is a significant Jain pilgrimage. Register at the hotel in Bangalore pre-arranged for you. Spend the rest of the day touring the city, which may include visit to temples, museums, malls, parks and zoo.
Day 20: Bangalore
Take a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai and spend the remaining day sight seeing Mumbai.
Day 21: Mumbai
Depart from Mumbai to self-determined destination or extend your tour to the cool Goa.
