Day 01: Arrival at Cochin
Our representative greets you and escorts you your hotel. You leave for a sight seeing tour in the afternoon via boat cruise and cover destinations including Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Thomas Church, St. Mary's Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets and, Bolghatty Palace. You return back to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 02: Cochin - Munnar
Post-breakfast, you pack your stuff and leave for Munnar, which would take about three and a half hours to reach. You will get to visit the pleasant Cheyyappara Water Falls en-route. You check in at the hotel by noon and rest at the hotel overnight.
Day 03: Munnar
You take a trip to the beautiful Munnar and indulge in heart’s fill of sight seeing of vast stretches of tea plantations, spice plantations and misty hills with rainforests in the backdrop ideal for trekking expeditions. You also visit Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pullivasal, Pothamedu, Attukad etc. Return to hotel for rest, meal and sound sleep.
Day 04: Munnar -Thekkady
Once you have done your breakfast, you would be escorted to Thekkady (Periyar) by long drive on road, taking all of 3 and a half hour of the day. On arrival, you check in at hotel and prepare for afternoon sightseeing of Thekkady. The location is not only home to the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary, but is a paragon of natural beauty sprawled across its territory.
Day 05: Thekkady
You take your breakfast and leave for the fantasy tour of Periyar lake Wildlife sanctuary. With oodles of natural beauty complimented by rare species of birds, animals and plants, Periyar is a favorite among nature lovers. In the afternoon, you set off for yet another sight seeing tour, but this time to the spice villages in the neighborhood, including Murikady, Pandikkuzhi and so on.
Day 06: Thekkady - Kumarakom
As the new day starts, you gear up for a new destination called Kumarakom. The check in this time is not in a usual hotel, but a houseboat. The traditional houseboats of Kerala, called Kettuvalams, are integral to local transport and are an ideal means to explore the backwaters of Kerala. As your houseboat sets off for Cochin, you get to watch the local life in its full bloom at the banks, coconut lagoons, paddy fields, narrow canals and villages engaged in making coir. The houseboat is your place of stay during night as well.
Day 07 Houseboat - Cochin
You take breakfast on the Kettuvalam and disembark at Cochin to check in at a resort this time. You spend the rest of the day shopping by yourself. At your will, you may visit the marine drive in the evening. Night stay shall be at the resort.
Day 08: Cochin
Wake up fresh and energetic, have breakfast and enjoy the day in a laid back manner. Soon it’s going to be time to leave for airport or railway station to move on to your next destination.
